The corporation is governed by a board of directors who represent the coverage area. The corporation employs a general manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the station. The general manager is a non-voting member of the corporation and sits in an ex-officio capacity on all standing and ad hoc committees. Community Advisory Board

The Community Advisory Board advises the station's board of directors on whether the station's programming and other significant policies are meeting the specialized educational and cultural needs of the communities served by the station.

Smoky Hills PBS’ community engagement efforts with its viewers and supporters would not be possible without the help of the Community Advisory Board (CAB). This active group of volunteer leaders is the station's eyes and ears of the community and plays an integral part of the planning and implementation of many the stations’ outreach programs.

CAB is a standing committee composed of persons representative of communities served by Smoky Hills PBS.  The CAB reviews the programming goals established by Smoky Hills PBS, the service provided by the station, and the significant policy decisions rendered by the station.

Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the SHPBS Community Advisory Board will meet at 1 PM via Zoom and at the station in Bunker Hill - 604 Elm St.

The Board of Directors establishes the date, time and location for the annual meeting of the Corporation.
